Cliff Lewis Printing remains committed to conducting its business operations in a manner that is in accordance with state and local government laws and protects both the environment and the health and safety of employees, customers and the public.
Cliff Lewis Printing endeavors to use environmentally friendly materials being either recyclable or biodegradable when ever possible in the production of our finished products, and we encourage our business partners and suppliers to aim for the same standards of environmental protection and safety.
Cliff Lewis Printing recycles all unusable off-cut and waste paper and any other waste materials whenever possible, and continues to look for ways to reduce commercial waste to a minimum.
All of our usable paper off cuts are distributed to local pre-schools, and waste paper and unusable off cuts are collected weekly and recycled.
Most paper stocks we use today have a large recycled content, and any 100% recycled stock can be supplied on request by our customer.
When buying large amounts of stock, clp buy in sheeted pallets as opposed to ream wrapped packets. This helps cut down on our waste, and the treated pallets are also passed on to local distributing companies for re-use.
Cliff Lewis Printing uses recyclable packaging such as paper wrapping and cartons and deliver in bulk pallet form when possible. Cliff Lewis Printing avoids using plastic packaging and we only shrink wrap our products using recyclable or bio-degradable films.
Cliff Lewis Printing has eliminated the use of almost all volatile organic compounds in the production of our products. Almost all chemicals now used by clp are biodegradable and fixers are recycled for silver content and treated before disposal.
Our new presses incorporating auto wash-up features use far less chemistry, and very little chemical handling is required by our operators. The inks now used by Cliff Lewis Printing have a soya bean oil base and are much kinder to the environment than standard printing inks. Cliff Lewis Printing is helping to eliminate unnecessary over-ordering of printing material with the installation of our new presses with fast setup features. This allows us to print short run work much more economically. We also offer our Digital short run production facility allowing per-unit pricing from 1 run through to 100’s.
